Beat the Heat this Summer With Your Mt. Charleston Wedding!

Mount Charleston is only 35 miles northwest of the Las Vegas Valley, but at a peak elevation of 11,918 feet, Mt. Charleston averages 20-30 degrees cooler than Las Vegas making it a popular summer wedding destination. It is located in the Spring Mountains, which run along the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley. Tourists and locals alike have found that the Spring Mountains and Charleston Peak are a great place to escape from the sweltering summer heat. The temperature is usually about 20-30 degrees cooler in the mountains than it is on the desert floor.

As you take your scenic limousine drive up the mountain, you will not only experience a difference in the temperature, but you will also see changes in vegetation. At the lowest level, which is 2,080 feet, you will find Joshua Trees. As you continue your ascent, cedar trees begin to line the road, and once you have reached the mountain's uppermost region you'll be surrounded by an Alpine forest. Also be on the lookout for acres of Bristlecone Pine. The Bristlecone Pine, looking unlike any pine tree you might expect to see, is the oldest known life form on earth. It is also one of two trees designated as the state tree of Nevada. You will have some amazing wedding photos taken with all the varied scenery that Mt. Charleston has to offer.

So, contact one of our wedding coordinators today to book your fantastic Mt. Charleston wedding with Scenic Las Vegas Weddings today! (Complete wedding packages starting at $699).

Scenic Las Vegas Weddings Now Offers a Priceless Piece of Las Vegas History!

We are very, very excited to announce that we were lucky enough to do our first photo shoot at the Neon Museum/Boneyard with Joella and Pedro of New York! The Boneyard is an extremely popular spot for movies, commercials, and other events. It is not currently open to the public, but can be booked by private appointment for additional wedding photography.

The notable and historically significant Neon Boneyard at the Neon Museum is located on the world famous Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip). The Boneyard is an extensive and impressive 3 acre outdoor collection of non-restored Las Vegas signs dating from the 1930’s to present day.

It was an absolutely fantastic experience to have the opportunity to spend some time at the Boneyard. We had full access to the whole place and it was just us and our wonderful wedding couple. We hope to book it again soon; it is truly an awesome and unique experience!

So, be the next lucky couple to take home a piece of Las Vegas history and book photography with Scenic Las Vegas Weddings at the Boneyard! You will have some of the most historic, dramatic and stunning wedding photographs ever taken!
